In 1996, the Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College in Pimpri, Pune, was founded. The Medical Council of India has acknowledged it (MCI). The MCI approved this private medical college as the first one in the state of Maharashtra to enhance the MBBS course intake capacity from 100 to 150 students in 2003 and from 150 to 250 in 2012. within a short period of time. The Malaysian Medical Council and the Malaysian Government both acknowledge the Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College’s MBBS programme.

Ambegaon, Narhe, Pune is where Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College & General Hospital is situated. Its founder, President Prof. M. N. Navale, gave it her mother’s name when it was established. This university has quickly built a solid reputation for academic excellence and patient care throughout Maharashtra, not just in Pune.

840 teaching beds, 80 ICU beds, 40 casualty beds, 20 beds for oral and maxillofacial surgery, 64 day care beds, 2 pain clinic beds, and 48 recovery beds in OT make up the current 1094-bed hospital, which opened in 2006 with just 300 beds. 100 students were admitted to the medical institution in September 2007 to begin the MBBS programme. 150 students can now be accepted, which is an increase. The Medical Council of India and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Indian Government in New Delhi both recognise our MBBS degree. Nashik’s Maharashtra University of Health Science is associated with the college.

Under the inspirational guidance of Dr. (Prof.) T. J. Sawant, JSPM launched its modest endeavour in 2001 with the opening of Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering at Tathawade. Today, JSPM is a conglomerate of more than 70 Institutes distributed across six campuses, offering high-quality education to more than 50000 students in the Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad metropolitan areas, spanning from Pre-School to Doctoral Research.
In the fields of engineering, management, and pharmacy, JSPM offers diploma, graduate, post-graduate, and research fellows programmes. Aside from technical education, it also developed eight schools in Pune with a combined student body of more than 12000. Every school is associated with CBSE.
